- 1 bunch celery
- 1/2 large white onion
- 1 can cannellini/white beans
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 sprigs each rosemary and thyme
- pepper and salt
- mince garlic and add it to a large pot with olive oil
- dice onion and add to pan with 1/2 cup of the chicken broth and the herbs
- drain the beans and slice the celery
- add them to the pot along with the rest of the chicken broth
- add pepper and salt to taste
- great with some grainy bread
