summer bulgur-heirloom tomato salad

I think about food all the time. Even when I’m sleeping. One night I woke up thinking of calamari, specifically the calamari I jealously eye daily, as happy customers gobbled it up at the seafood restaurant where I worked. I could taste the salty, slightly sweet little fried bits of squid and peppers. I tried to think of something we had in the house I could eat to ease this craving with but nothing would suffice. When I told one of my coworkers about the dream the next day, I thought it was a fairly normal story to share. The looks of disbelief and laughs I got in return made me reassess my food fixation and realize just how serious an obsession it is. And I really don’t see anything wrong with it. This site is a place to share my general thoughts and musings (which are mostly about food anyways which is why I will focus on recipes.)

*forewarning: these recipes are not perfect and may need adjustments, I’m not the best at keeping track of measurements and I tend to go heavier on certain flavors/ingredients than your average bird
